The Carroll County Board of Supervisors and the Carroll County Planning Commission will hold a Joint Public Hearing on Thursday, November 18, 2010, in the auditorium of Carroll County High School, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practical, for the purpose of soliciting public comment pertaining to approval and adoption of the Carroll County Comprehensive Plan.
Copies of the proposed Comprehensive Plan are available for download at www.plancarrollcounty.org or in the County Administrator’s Office and/or the Office of Land Use and Planning.
All members of the public are invited to attend and speak at the Public Hearing.

The Carroll County Planning Commission will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 12, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with a joint meeting with the Carroll County Board of Supervisors and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee in the Board Meeting Room of the Carroll County Governmental Center for a workshop concerning the Comprehensive Plan.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practical, the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing concerning proposed amendments to the Subdivision Ordinance.
Following this public hearing, the Planning Commission meeting will continue in Room B130 of the Carroll County Governmental Center.
