Notice of Organizational Meeting - 2011

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors organizational meeting will be held January 3, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. in the Board Room at the Governmental Complex. The Public Service Authority organizational meeting will follow.

All members of the public are invited to attend this meeting.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 14, 2010 Carroll County Parks and Recreation Basketball Scheduling Notice

“Given the fact we have gotten behind because of weather and school closings we have decided to begin rescheduling our basketball games after the first of the year. These cancellations combined with school concerts and Christmas plays having been moved have made it nearly impossible to find dates that would work for everyone before Christmas. With this in mind all games from Monday December 13, 2010 forward will be moved. After we get everything reworked we will provide each coach with a new schedule. While we do regret the need to reschedule we feel that it’s our best option given the situation.”

NOTICE OF JOINT MEETING OF THE CARROLL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AND OF THE CARROLL COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors and the Carroll County Planning Commission will hold a Joint Meeting on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, in the Board Meeting Room of the Carroll County Governmental Center, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practical, for the purpose of final approval of the 2030 Carroll County Comprehensive Plan. Copies of the proposed Comprehensive Plan are available in the County Administrator’s Office, the Office of Land Use and Planning, or by DOWNLOADING HERE.

Following this joint meeting, the Planning Commission will continue their regular monthly meeting in Room B130 of the Carroll County Governmental Center.
